Best Buy Folsom

On 1/22/2026 and 1/26/2026, the male suspect in the photographs, entered Best Buy (Folsom, CA) and stole several Bose and JBL Bluetooth portable speakers.  On both occasions, the suspect was dressed similarly, wearing a jacket, shorts and black shoes.

Dollar Tree - Folsom

On 02/16/2026, at approximately 1451 hours, a shoplifting incident occurred at Dollar Tree on East Bidwell Street in Folsom. The pictured suspects stole approximately $200.00 in food and merchandise.  This was the third time in the last week that the two suspects shoplifted from Dollar Tree locations in Folsom.
The associated suspect vehicle was a maroon 1999 Nissan Pathfinder (CA 4EEK171).

Tahoe Park Restaurants Burglaries
February 15, 2026

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating after three restaurants in the Tahoe Park neighborhood were recently victims of burglaries.
Police responded on Friday to the first alarm at Bacon and Butter on Broadway around 4:10 a.m., to second alarm on Saturday at Sac City Brews on 60th Street at 4:13 a.m., 
and a third burglary call at Milano Pizza, also on 60th Street, around 4:25 a.m.

Sheriff Impersonator
February 12, 2026

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office is warning residents about a recent incident in which a woman was pulled over by an apparent law-enforcement impersonator.
She had a vehicle, which was described as kind of a black and white SUV, come up behind her.  It had red and blue lights in the dashboard.  And so, she thought that she was legitimately being pulled over.
The Sheriff's Office says the alleged impersonator then tried to reach through the pulled-over vehicle's window, forcing the driver to use bear spray to get away.

MILLER'S Ace Hardware
January 30, 2026

On January 16, 2026, between approximately 4:20 a.m. and 4:40 a.m., an unknown suspect burglarized Miller’s Ace Hardware, located at 8077 Madison Ave.  The suspect gained access through a locked fire/maintenance room door on the east side of the building. The lock appeared to be picked, with no visible damage. Once inside the maintenance room, the suspect cut through sheetrock between wall studs, creating a hole and crawling into the store’s storage area. After entering the storage room, the suspect removed multiple boxed tools from shelves and exited the same way they entered. Approximately $10,519.28 worth of tools were stolen.
 
The suspect was wearing gloves and a face mask.
 
Suspect Vehicle: The vehicle appears to be a 2013–2016 BMW X5 or X3 SUV. Further review of traffic camera footage identified a possible license plate: California 7SUV841.

Club Studio Gym
January 16, 2026

CHPD Case CH26-00193 | Case Type:  Credit Card Fraud and Theft
 
On January 7, 2026, an unknown suspect (S-1) unlawfully entered Club Studio gym, located at 5419 Sunrise Blvd in Citrus Heights, and broke into secured gym lockers inside the women’s locker room. Cash and multiple credit/debit cards were stolen from a victim’s locker while the victim was attending a workout class.  Shortly after the theft, the stolen debit card was fraudulently used at several locations throughout Sacramento County. At approximately 8:06 p.m., S-1 used the victim’s card to purchase four $500 gift cards at the CVS Pharmacy located at 8101 Greenback Lane in Fair Oaks. Additional unauthorized transactions were made through Square to various merchants, including an online retailer and a marijuana dispensary.
 
The suspect is believed to be responsible for at least two similar locker thefts at the same gym on consecutive days.
 
Suspect Description:  S-1 is described as a Black female adult, approximately 30–35 years old, about 5’6” tall and 250 pounds. She was wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt, matching maroon sweatpants, and Birkenstock-style sandals. Her hair appeared straightened, parted down the middle, and curled/frizzed just past shoulder length.

  • On December 14, 2025, CHPD responded to a call for service regarding an alarm at Ericas Cafe. CHPD determined the suspect used a large rock to shatter a window to enter the business.  Once inside the business, the suspect stole cash from the register.  The owner of the Cafe confirmed $300 cash had been stolen from the registers and estimated $2,000 worth of damage had been done to the glass window and door from the rock.

Sky River Casino Grand Theft
December 19, 2025

On 12/05/25 at approximately 4pm, the suspect stole an $1500 electric airless sprayer from the bed of a  truck and loaded the electric airless sprayer in a white GMC Yukon (CA/8TRS321), then later fled the area in the GMC.

The incident was captured on the Sky River Casino surveillance cameras.  The suspect  is believed to be involved in a prior grand theft that occurred at the Sky River Casino on 11/19/25 between 5-6 pm,  (EGPD
case #25-008471).
The appeared to be a 40-50 year-old Hispanic male with short black hair.
The registered owner of the GMC is a female, who sold the vehicle to the suspect months ago.
